1. About us & these terms

This website is operated by Coupet Industries, trading as KinderPod ("KinderPod", "we", "us", "our"), based in New Zealand at 214 Heatherlea East Road, Levin, Manawātū-Whanganui 5510. You can reach us at info@kinderpod.com.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms. Please read them carefully; if you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or place an order.

2. Products & pricing

  • Prices are shown in the currency of your selected region (GBP for the United Kingdom; NZD for New Zealand and other international orders) and include applicable taxes where stated at checkout.
  • We take reasonable care to describe and price products accurately, but errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue before we accept your order.
  • Product images are for illustration; colours and configuration may vary slightly from what is shown.
  • All products are subject to availability. We may withdraw or change a product at any time.

3. Orders & contract

Your order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil your order we will notify you and refund any payment taken.

4. Deposits & pre-orders

Certain products may be offered on a deposit or pre-order basis — for example, a 25% deposit to reserve stock, with the balance due before dispatch. Where you place a deposit or pre-order:

  • The deposit secures your allocation of stock and is applied against the total price of your order.
  • We will contact you to collect the balance and confirm delivery once stock is available.
  • Your statutory cancellation and refund rights (Section 6) continue to apply to deposit and pre-order purchases.

5. Payment

Payment is taken through our payment providers at checkout. You confirm that the payment details you provide are valid and that you are authorised to use them.

6. Cancellations, returns & refunds

As a consumer you have statutory rights — under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, or (for UK orders) the Consumer Contracts Regulations and Consumer Rights Act. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. In addition:

  • 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your KinderPod, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a return and refund of the purchase price. Products must be returned complete and in re-saleable condition.
  • To start a return or cancellation, email info@kinderpod.com and we will guide you through the process.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
  • Where goods are faulty or not as described, we cover the cost of return and, at your option, repair, replace or refund in line with your consumer rights.

7. Delivery

Delivery timescales and costs are shown at checkout and on our delivery information page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but will keep you informed.

8. Warranty

Our products are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in addition to your statutory rights. The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised modification. To make a claim, contact info@kinderpod.com with your order details and a description of the fault.

9. Safe use of the product

Our products are designed to transport children and must be used strictly in accordance with the supplied instructions and safety guidance, including harness use, weight limits and age ranges. Always supervise children. Failure to follow the instructions may result in injury and may affect your warranty.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and designs — is owned by or licensed to KinderPod and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or use it without our written permission.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the site and submitting enquiry or order details, you consent to that handling.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses where you use the products for a commercial purpose beyond our reasonable contemplation.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of New Zealand. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer laws that apply in your country of residence.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.
